After earning my degree in film, I spent several years working in script development before transitioning into the nonprofit sector, where I focused on early literacy initiatives. These professional experiences—combined with my journey as a foster, adoptive, and biological parent—sparked a deep love for writing stories for children. I’m an active member of SCBWI and currently live in Holland with my husband, our kids, and a very opinionated cat.
